"Most safest"? I thought you were posting a commercial with bad grammar, but instead it's just the title of the thread.

The Taurus isn't dead - they already brought it back by replacing the name "500" with Taurus on their new design.

That car is actually a significant piece of automotive history. One of the highest-impact cars on the industry in the history of automobiles. I remember they spent an unheard of amount of money developing it at the time and it was a huge sales hit. And yeah it actually was the safest car on the market at the time - the safest mid-sized car sold in the US was a title the Taurus held for many years occasionally taken away by Volvo and then given back again...

"Safest Full size car in America."
