Except that Audi has quattro and that's not something just some "accessory."
Unless you constitute the Audi TT as a dressed up R32 which in that case would be wrong anyway, the R32 was pretty expensive and the R32 was based on the TT.
Audi and VW make great vehicles they just need to work on reliability. The interiors in Audis are gorgeous. Audi design language is awesome too.

The A3, A4, and A6 are all recommended by CR.

Quattro is legendary, Audi got BANNED from racing b/c it was declared an unfair advantage, lol.

Good point, traditionally. The R8 is basically destroying anything BMW and Lexus offers. Teh RS4 is the real deal. The S5 is the first Audi with a redesigned platform that pushes the engine farther back.

We had a 540, GS 430 and a A6 4.2 parked side by side at our meet last week and it was AMAZING how the GS and 540 were similar in execution in the engine bay and the Audi V-8 was so far up front we could not believe it.

The newest models? I really want to hear about the A/S6. Gorgeous coupes way better than the 3. The 335 might beat out an S6 in a race but the 3 series interior cannot touch the Audi's. If Audi really is starting to improve on their quality and reliability they might step up against what I might want to purchase in the near future (about a year or so from now).
