Um, want me to show you stock timeslips of mid 12's from actual owners to get through the thick skull of yours or would you rather believe accounts from 1-2day excusions with magazine editors? It's really easy to figure out: if you don't know how to launch an AWD boosted car, you're going to get crap times, period. But that is beyond the point....you draw comparisons of the 335i w/ a costly aftermarket standlaone system running high 12's and w/ an Evo which can be modified readily to run 11's (like my car with bolt ons and a FREE self-tuned reflash) and that has also 2 less cylinders, 1 less turbo, and less 1 litre of displacement. Stop trying to be an intarweb hero already and listen to ACTUAL owners who have run these themselves.
Wow I can't wait to see a single turbo 335i, I guess time will tell if the bottom end can hold the boost. A GT42XX 335i with supporting mods will be very potent.
= major lag.. but some tuners already have the engine apart and removed the turbos for inspection and ideas. I can't wait to see that.

Define major lag lol.......tt was only a matter of time before tuners started getting single upgrade ideas, a twin GT30 setup might even be an option. The inline 6 motor is very easy to work with as far as turbo upgrades.

Space is a major problem with turbo placement on this inline 6 engine. Tuners are gonna have to get real creative if they want to throw a large snail in there.
