Did anyone see this video days before it was at Laguna Seca?

Written by a friend that works at the dealership...
(Submitted from the local car club here)
"I got a call from my local Nissan dealership Friday afternoon. One of the salesman said that a car broke down near here and it was brought in on a closed trailer. he didn't say what it was but told me I needed to hurry down.
Apparently I missed it by about 10 minutes because the trailer was pulling out as I pulled in but my friend managed to get one picture while it was there.
He said that none of the employees were allowed to look at it and when they opened the hood, no one was allowed in the area but the Nissan engineers. It was right hand drive and they heard that it was a V8. Apparently at some point the car suffered some kind of valve train damaged and after two hours of working on it they(the Nissan Engineers) decided it wasn't repairable in the facility and pushed it back onto the trailer and left."

"Two short intake plenums with three barely visible runners on each side suggest a V6, as we expected. There's no conclusive evidence that it's Nissan's recently redesigned VQ35HR V6, but the front cover just behind the oil dipstick is consistent with current VQ design."
Only time will tell what is really under the hood.

I heard 70k too but I heard recently b/c of more shared parts than revealed to us and to really become "the" performance bargain the Z06 has, 60k has now come up.
Considering a 350Z S-tune is 50k with some b.s mods and a loaded G35 is 40k, I think 20k more for this car is feasible.
Though even at 70k, that would be a good buy if the performance does match the 911 turbo!

GT-R may have been introduced to the public a year before the IS-F, but the IS-F's inception started before the release of the current 2nd gen IS. Which came first the chicken or the egg? At this point it doesn't matter. GT-R hasn't been formally introduced in final form as of yet.
