Interesting the RX then would be nearly 53% owned by men...not quite the woman's car reputation, it's about 50/50.

I think these % statisistics can possibly be a little misleading, "owned by men" does not neccessarily always mean driven mainly by the man in the household . . .

That's what I was thinking too. It might registered and bought by the man of the household, but who's the daily driver?

Or does this just mean that women find the men who drive these cars to be extremely sexy and desireable...

True, owners may not be drivers, but the launch stats for the 2 RX show that 62% of owners were female in the first year, clearly that has dropped in favor of males.

Notice a pattern here?

These are, basically, entry-level luxury cars. Most of them, typically optioned, would not run over about 40-45K (and you can get some TSXs for less than 30K). Apparantly women don't feel that it is worth putting huge amounts of money into new luxury cars...and to a large extent I agree, though 40-45K, in my book, is not cheap either. The only cars in that price range I would ever actually put my own money down for is the Lexus GS AWD and Acura RL, both superb products....but I'm really in love with Outbacks.

Small sedans and small SUVs - not surprised.

I'm surprised the RX is so far down, but I agree on the IS. I only see
women driving it.
