The FT-86 ("86" pronounced "hachi roku"), a compact rear-wheel-drive sports car, provides driving joy and excitement.
* Compact design gives driver greater control, while body's lightness and low center of gravity allow racecar-like handling
* Both power and environmental performance provided by 2-liter boxer engine and light body
* Flash Red body color contains hint of blue; interior expresses modern feel with minimal coverage of the highly refined structural components evoking enthusiasm for cruising
Vehicle : FT-86 Concept
Length: 4,160 mm = 162 inches = 13.5 feet
Width: 1,760 mm = 68 inches = 5.72 feet
Height: 1,260 mm = 48.19 = 4 feet
Wheelbase: 2,570 mm = 100.3 inches
Seating: 4
For comparison, the tC:
Length: 174 in
Width: 69.1 in
Height: 55.7 in
Wheelbase: 106.3 in

I think it looks great! If this was an Audi, people would be calling it a triumph in design ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
. I want to see the rear and interior.
There is a very slight use of LF-A styling cues, but I love how they used a fair amount of FT-HS styling cues. I love that triangular bumper that makes the car look very svelte and aggressive at the same time. This is good news for the FT-HS rumored to be coming to production. A production FT-HS would have a stylistic/family resemblance to this coupe.
So to be priced around 20K, RWD, *dedicated chassis*, boxer engine, small and light, what's not to like? Toyota has not made a car like this in a LONG, LONG time. Genesis coupe, eat your heart out

Not bad. Could use a bit more shaping near the rear flanks, but I think it's ok looking so far.
Late 2011 is too far away. C'mon guys, can't you make it for late next year?

IMO if the rear fenders are flared, the look would be perfect. I do see some LF A cues in the front.
**edit**
This thing is like 2 feet shorter, a foot lower and almost as wide as the genesis.
Damn.
Sub 2800lbs for sure. Lets see if the can get it round 2500
