I went and checked one out in person today. It's much better than I had perceived in person. I actually really like this car!! Really thinking about ordering one, but I really want to drive one first...I really hope the driving dynamics back up the other awesomeness of the car

The first BRZs are hitting the showrooms.

I don't get it. RWD is not Subaru. If anything, FWD is Subaru, before RWD. They were the first automaker to mass produce the FWD vehicle. Anyway, I was reading the review of this car and saw that it is slower than the Legacy GT, Impreza WRX, and Impreza WRX STi. How silly for a $25k Subaru that only uses two wheels.

That's why it's really a Toyota not a Subaru! Toyota is merely using Subaru's engineering capacity to execute Toyota's idea of an affordable FUN car. And to that end they have overwhelmingly succeeded.

If you're looking for the next-gen Subaru PERFORMANCE car, i.e. a car that's about big numbers, fastest lap times, etc., you are looking at the wrong car.

Does it matter what wheels are driven and what badge is on it?

Bottom line is that they gave it to us.

Give thanks for that.

Besides, if any car is going to be an exception for any brand, this is the car to do it.

I'm impressed with the steering. Better than the already-fantastic-911? That alone is worthy.
