Yeah, a re-bodied version with L-finesse cues...GT350 here we come.

I just noticed, look at the A-pillars, that is a pretty cool design! That "slot" in the A-pillars gives them a unique, almost semi-transparent look.

that slot won't make it to production though. that probably won't pass safety tests.

i wonder if that side vent will make it to production, and if it doesn't, i wonder what they're gonna do with that hole in the fender.
cuz if they fill it out, it will look bland as hell.

The side cut vent is very cool but I can't see that the resulting sharp hood corner passing safety regulations

First time seeing these pics. That front end is awkward as heck. The rest is not bad. I like the simple interior.

I am just glad that Toyota seems to be following through with this coupe.

Since this is a sports car, I could easily see the brake vent making it to production. The hood might be slightly redesigned, but the overall shape and style of the hood should be no problem for production.

The A-pillar slot probably won't make it to production, but it's still a unique design cue.

I would much rather Toyota get the 350-400hp version of the FT-86 as the next Supra instead of Lexus. If it becomes a Lexus then $10K or more is going to be tacked on to the price just because it is a Lexus and it is going to end up getting more of a luxury GT touch which will make it heavier and softer. The price will end being in the 50's if not 60's and very few will buy it. If Toyota gets it then it could be priced in the mid to high 30's and low 40's and it will be an easier pill to swallow for buyers. Powerplant wise I would love to see either a twin turbo Subaru flat six or a small twin turbo v8 but unfortunately that will end up making it pretty expensive.

It is looking pretty good from those pictures but I am sure it is going to be toned down pretty heavily exterior and interior wise by the time it is production ready.

The only case I could see Lexus making for the platform would be in a roadster. With forthcoming IS and GS coupes there wouldn't be much room in the Lexus lineup for something like this, IMO.

It's a shame they cant build the CT on this chassis...
