I'm just glad that FR-S exist. It doesn't matter if it falls under scion or toyota since it still runs by the same company. If it's between lexus and toyota then it's a big difference.
As an unrelated point of reference, this a reminder that any and all rebadges are possible. Yes, it's a real picture. Yes, it's RHD and JDM. No, it's not photoshopped. If you don't believe me, look it up. Toyota imported, rebadged, and SOLD the Chevrolet Cavalier as a Toyota badged product.
yep... and toyota ceo at the time apologized to GM for low sales.
Why should toyota apologize?
GM should've been the one to apologize for having a crappy product that even a toyota badge couldn't save it. Talk about looking bad.
I hope the "hot" version mentioned earlier in the thread employs some NA engine tuning along the lines of what Porsche does to their flat-6 in the GT3. Within reason of course given that this is car has 1.8L less displacement and two less cylinders than a GT3 and costs far less. 250 horsepower would be a great number to reach.
I hope it'll be good enough to compete with the Genesis coupe. That car is really everywhere now, and I gotta admit it looks great, with performance to boot.

I totally agree. I hope the FRS looks like it does in the magazine article. The Genesis coupe is serious competition judging by how popular they are around here.
