Supra 2j in 5 series

Yeah, heaven forbid someone put a good motor in the car
Most popular motorswap for BMWs is the 2jz boys and girls. In fact, other than LS1 swaps (since they package better and are cheaper), the 2jz swap is most likely the most common non-OEM-brand motorswap for all the swaps going on right now.
Its been proven to make TONS of power and have a terrific powerband, has probably the best 6-speed transmission ever made, and requires no internal modifications to make more power than most people would know what to do with. It also has a ton of documentation in so many different swaps; the eletrical manuals are freely available on the web, and there are turbo upgrade kits that support every single budget imaginable; not to mention the many GE-swaps occuring now (I've now seen two RWD Probe conversions)
Hate it all you want; but its swapped for a reason.
