1005hp Vortech blown 4.0 Lexus powered Opel Omega 220+ mph

I talked to a highly respected tuner from MoTeC about the 1UZ. His comments were enough to make me reconsider stuffing a twin turbo version in my Supra. It's possible to get 1000 hp from a 1 liter engine. It's not possible to make this kind of power and keep anything remotely like a reasonable service life. That was his comment about the 1UZ. Bottom end not strong enough, and he meant the block, not the crank and rods.
It will be interesting to see if he was right, but he's not the guy whose opinion one would doubt. He's broken more engines than I've built, and I've built quite a few.

Stock block and stock bottom end, no... the implications are different. Stock block = stock block only, stock bottom end = stock crank/rods/pins/pistons...ect. ESPECIALLY when the motor is cranking out 1000hp.
