Issues with my Honda Accord alarm....
Hello, i have a '98 Honda Accord Ex Coupe and recently my factory alarm has not been working. I replaced the battery on the remote and still all the buttons do not work... So last night i unlock the car from the inside with my hand and the alarm goes off...
I was able to kill the alarm by disconnecting the battery and leaving it off over night. This morning, I connected the battery back together and now the whole car is completely dead. Like when i start the car, it does not crank up or light up....
I was told by a few friends that the alarm is going bad, and the only way to get my car to start is by disconnecting the alarm from the brain? I have no idea how to do this, and i can live without an alarm just as longest my car starts up and runs... Hope to hear from you guys soon....

If the alarm is truly a factory alarm, unlocking the door with the key should disable it.
If none of your lights or electronics work now after connecting the battery, then it probably isn't related to the alarm. It's more probable that you blew a fuse or connected the wires incorrectly.
