1005 hp LEXUS V-8
Thought you guys my enjoy drooling over this that I stumbled upon in EVO magazine. It's an Opel with a Lexus V-8 mated to a Viper tranny putting out 1005 horses!

Notice! - Standard cams. So much for those people saying you need to alter cam profiles even with forced induction to get good power. One tuff motor, which we knew anyway.

actually you got it backwards, your alright with FI on standard cams but its when ur running low boost/NA that cams really help open up the motor.
if you throw massive boost at the 1uz it still makes power, but that car could benefit a decent bit from a full set of cams

trbo vs. sc
I guess that begs the question AGAIN, turbo vs. supercharger? Obviously you can make 1k hp with a turbo I-6 but this proves that you can also do it with an SC V-8...
