LMFAO at RL sales.
GS and M sales down a bunch, I am figuring due to both getting rid of 07 models as the refreshened 08 models come in this month.
Considering all the news we heard in Sept about the housing market and the dollar and oil back over $80, car companies with less than a 10% decline have to be happy. A lot was going on last month.

Granted, the 760Li starts out at $122,000, whereas the LS600 starts at $104,000.
No data on how many S600/S63/S65 are sold. Based on 2000 monthly sales of total S class, I'd say about 100.

Suzuki Auto Maintains Record Sales Pace Through September 2007
BREA, Calif.--American Suzuki Motor Corporation today announced strong sales through the third quarter of 2007, maintaining a retail pace to achieve its fourth consecutive year of record annual sales. Year-to-date sales now stand at exactly 82,000 vehicles, slightly ahead of the record-setting pace achieved in 2006, which marked the first year in American Suzuki Auto’s 22-year history in which annual volume exceeded 100,000 units. September 2007 sales stood at 7,653 units, buoyed by the popularity of the XL7, which sold 1,386 more units than the outgoing XL-7 in September 2006.
Suzuki Auto is poised for continued sales momentum through the fourth quarter as the all-new, four-door SX4 Sport launched Oct. 1. The SX4 Sport enhances Suzuki Auto’s full line of vehicles, which also includes the five-door SX4 Crossover, America’s lowest-priced all-wheel-drive vehicle. September sales of the SX4 Crossover reached 1,054 units, while Suzuki’s XL7 midsize crossover SUV enjoyed 1,626 deliveries and off-road capable Grand Vitara realized 1,578 sales. The company’s Forenza and Reno, with combined September sales of 3,330 units, fill out the lineup with entry-level pricing and a combination of style and content far exceeding segment competition.
“With the all-new SX4 Sport arriving in showrooms, Suzuki’s profile among new-car buyers will continue to grow,” said Mark Harano, president of American Suzuki’s Automotive Operations. “As we move into the holiday buying season, consumers will find tremendous value in Suzuki’s right-sized products, and we look forward to appearing on even more shoppers’ lists.”

So did the midsize sedan segment grow? The new Accord this month did nothing to Camry sales as the Camry increased sales. The Civic experienced another month of lower sales, it must be the Mazda 3 eating into it's sales. Corolla sales dropped a bit, but that's expected given how old the car is.
IS sales took a dip, likely from the new CTS and C-Class. Amazing how strong LS sales continue to be. Tundra sales also continue to be strong, despite reduced incentives.

Much worse than analysts expected and nobody else did anything
spectacular, so my first instinct is to say that Accord sales came
largely at the expense of Ford cars...

I fully expect the new Accord to do great as usual.
