Jeremy Clarkson tests the 202mph VW Golf GTI W12 (Top Gear)
The Volkswagen Golf GTI W12 gets its 6.0 liter W12 engine from a Bentley giving it the ability to produce 641 horsepower and performance that is up to par with the Porsche 911 Turbo. This Golf GTI W12 does 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed 201mph.

But it doesnt handle! The Stig had to fight the understeer and oversteer in a split second. lol I got the full episode. Seems maybe VW should take it back and bring it back down a notch on that GTI. I vote RS4 V8in place of the W12.

There can only be One
Its an amazing feat in 4 weeks.
But if they work on that Handling then maybe.
I love the look. But damn A Bentley Engine Lambo Brakes on a VW?
Like said above they should have put a V8 in there instead of the V12.

Incorrect, W12 is the designation and the configuration; refering to its configuration resembling two V6's overlaid side by side for compactness.
" W12 engine is a twelve cylinder piston engine in a W configuration. W12 engines are manufactured in two distinct configurations. One configuration uses four banks of three cylinders (two narrow-angle V6 engine blocks), coupled to a common crankshaft (i.e. VW W12). The other uses three banks of four cylinders coupled to a common crankshaft (i.e. Napier Lion)."
