I'm amazed you fit in an IS300 being that size. I got one for a loaner once, it was the most mizerable experience I ever had in a Lexus car. Had it for 3 days. Each day was worse than the last. I still remember it well although it was several years ago. My neck and back were in pain. You weigh about 10 lbs more than me with the same height. You must be flexible. Do you work out, play tennis or something?

I didn't work out much before, but I do now...walk and swim. But with the IS300, that wasn't the issue. A sunroof, for tall people, often makes a BIG difference. Did the IS300 you rented have one? Mine didn't. If so, that may have explained at least part of your misery. With many (if not most) cars, the housing that the sunroof panel fits in takes out about an inch and a half of headroom.
