Redwood City is in the SF peninsula near Stanford Univ in Palo Alto. I don't live in Redwood City, I had to go there to get my car because there are very few Turbo coupes available in CA. I was only able to locate 6 or 7 new 08s and they are all selling for MSRP and that is if you can get one. They stopped production of Turbo Coupes to make Turbo cabs so if you place an order today, you will get it in late April or early May. To make matters worse, my local dealership has sold all of his 2008 allocations so if I placed an order locally it would have been an '09.

Thanks, most of the turbo cabs are pre-sold and the ones available have very few miles but are used. I was lucky enough to locate one at Pacific Porsche in Torrance but it was a tiptronic and had $5k in HRE forged wheels that I didn't want. I finally talked them into taking off the wheels but the turbo just doesn't look right as a cab. The coupe has better lines and after having 2 cabs, I got sick of the noise with the top up. The car is much stiffer as a coupe and feels tighter overall.

Just made an appointment to get it tinted today! Woo hoo!

^ Damn Doc, you have a very understanding wife. If I bought a 997TT (or any eurotoy) I can't imagine what it would cost me in reciprical toys for the wife . . .

Here are the pics... I tried to upload photos that were reasonably color accurate for those considering meteor grey. I agonized over a week about the color combo but once I saw it.... fuggedaboutit! Photos do not do this color justice. It looks even better in person, there are a lot of subtle details that are done to the car, the bottom parts of the rear valence, side skirts, and front lip are color matched, usually they are black plastic. The alcantara wheel looks a little out of place in the photos but the headliner is matching black alcantara leather. Enjoy the pics, I'm leaving to get it tinted now.

2thfixr-
Spectacular! Love the CF sills and center console. Those turbo wheels are my absolute favorite too! Tend to agree w/ you about lines on the turbo cab, but figured you'd go the cab route again. Congrats and enjoy!
