Good find!
The more and more that M3, RS4, C63 articles and reviews come in...you realize something. I think that we all tend to look at it as, "Which car is the BEST?" Really though, these manufacturers aren't necessarily trying to build a "best car", but rather the best car that their brand can build to illustrate their capabilities and philosophy.
-The M3 is the wild child BMW that will rip your head off and reward you with wild power slides and razor sharp handling- classical BMW.
-The RS4 uses Audi's signature quattro and a monstrous V8 to provide acceleration with and grip control- everything Audi stands for: power and control.
-Mercedes is evolving the AMG line to become a bit sportier but still a big Benz with big power and bold styling. Trademark Mercedes.
Yeah, they're all fast and fun but your personal criteria is what will determine which is best.
Lexus has said that they aren't necessarily gunning for the M3 crowd with the IS-F but rather that they are looking at bringing the brand to the next level. I think it really makes sense when you look at what cars like the M3 and RS4 stand for. It's the company philosophy, to the max.
