I often see rich old timers roll on these along Park Ave and 5th Ave. About a month ago i saw a guy in a suit on a Vespa and an older gentleman on his Segway what seemed to drag race from a red light on Park. That was a Kodak moment in itself.

My co worker rides a Segway to work everyday. Well, at least when it is not raining. Pretty cool machine. His was the standard one and it still cost just over $5K though.
Speaking of Mall Security. I believe our local Police actually now has a Segway detail Better to ride on that than to walk the streets. They also use these things for emergency response by EMS or Police in Parades or other times when there are large crowed.

There was some fancy "back pain" store I went to a few months ago that had a selection of very nice and very expensive chairs. One of them was a bright red Ferrari chair. It wasn't an actual seat out of a Ferrari car - more like a comfortable office chair with a bright red paint job.
Only problem was it wasn't that comfortable, it was built extremely poorly (squeaked, groaned, and seemed loose... WAY more than the average cheap chair I've sat in) - and it cost $4,500!!!
