Want To Buy : New Gtr Or Used Ferrari ???
#16
Because that might be the ONLY way you can get a GT-R and other limited cars if you really want one.
The only good price is a price you're willing to pay. For some, $90k will be a good price on a new GT-R.
I'd get the GT-R over a used Ferrari, but only at a good price.

Now the GT-R is gonna be an awesome car with amazing dynamics and track capability.
The Ferrari will always say "true baller" though and have the ultimate 'wow' factor.

depend on what you use the car for.. if you want a weekend car that look flashy and be able to show off to your friends, sit at yoru garage on week day and do nothing go for the 360.. if you want a everyday driver with lots of gadget and can take it to the track on weekend go for the GT-R. But before you get all excited about the 100k 360 they are VERY VERY SLOW.. They do have the look and sound mean but man the performace doesn't match up for it. Also maintance is expensive, I know someone work at a Ferrari dealer and he doens't have much good stuff to say about the maintance either.. And 100k won't get you a nice low millege 360 probably higher millege grey market not a US car... if 100k is really your budget to spend on a 360 you might want to look else where..

youre looking for a skyline or a ferrari.
forgive me if im wrong but it sounds like you're not really interested in either car. youre just looking for something unique.
you could also throw maserati in the mix.
but anyway if you have the ability to work on the car yourself or have the conections (ie know a shop) to do so i think id go with the 360 being you

GT-R without a doubt.
Since your in CA finding one without a markup will be tough. I know you have different regulations but what about buying one out of state? I am sure you will be able to find a better deal than $20k over somewhere.

OK, I have a question. I remember seeing a program on Discovery or History channel about the Ferrari manufacturing process. It was very impressive as to the quality of both the materials and the workmanship that goes into the vehicle.
Now I did read somewhere that oil for this car is $60 per quart, so oil changes are expensive, but assuming you don't race the car on the track, why is maintenance so expensive for this car?

I heard that Lambo's take $10k to maintain a year. I'm not exactly sure how it equates to that but is it about the same for this Particular Ferrari?

GTR reminds me of NSX back in 91'....remember how they marked up their MSRP ?? Most likely I shoot for GTR .... if it's outrages with mark up $$, then I wait for few more months, howz that sound ??
Ferrari is FERRARI ..... UNIQUE and classic !! I'd have to sell my 650, M5 and pull out my credit line to get the 15,000 miles service done !! ok... not that much but... get the point !
This going to be my "weekend" ride, seldomly on weekdays.... I would say 5000miles per year.
