If Lexus could have one FWD sedan-ES, then I think Toyota could at least have one RWD sedan-Crown. Bring this car to the U.S. please.

It's nice, but not real nice, I bet less people here will like it if it's actually available here (like it's just another not-too-exiting Toyota), we always want what we can't have . . .

But if Toyota could sell, says 5000 units monthly, then I think it is worth importing this car here. And there should be no problem for this super successful auto company to sell that number with this stylish sedan, if priced around $35,000 and under. In Hong Kong, this car(not the Hybrid) is priced similar to BMW 525i, so it would be a steal if American could buy it for way less than the $48,000 base 528i.

Are you kidding? The Crown is a really nice car. My friend had the first Athlete with the 1JZGTE engine and my parents had the Zero Crown Athlete with the same engine as the IS350. The interior is really nice, and they both drive really nice.

Here's hoping Toyota will bring the Crown over here to North America. I am crossing my finger and say that it will happen. The current Crown is featured in the Future/Concept section of www.toyota.com website.

Crown does look nice
However, those headlights look way too similar to the M35/45.

I've liked the Crowns since the '80's. Sadly, the days of budget or mid priced RWD doesn't seem to get the interest. Instead, it's has become a luxury level layout. If Toyota did sell it under Toyota, i wonder if the otehrs would respond equally?

Granted, it is a nice car, but I echo some of the comments above. It doesn't differentiate itself enough from current Toyota and Lexus offerings to have a place in the North American market. Perhaps if some model were removed from the market here and the Crown took its place, that would be a possibility.

that would never happen with the hierarchy of the Toyota sedan. The V8 is reserved for the Majesta.

I think Toyota should also bring the Mark X over here to North America. With that car, I will definitely be first in line.

Then after five to ten years later, I will graduate up to the Crown. Staying within the Toyota family.

Dream on.
