ehm, i am sure you think you know it all, I am just telling you what I see from my experience of servicing more than 100 new Rav4's.

AZ is one of the most reliable engines on the planet, KD (one you got now) is not.

Does Australia have different emissions, the Lincoln Aviator (when it came out) had some engine stalling problems at around 20k which was from a congested exhaust, maybe the exhaust is to restrictive in the Aussie version, if an engine can't breath it will not run right
