Audi Reports Sales Increase for October
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Audi of America, Inc. today
announced that sales for the month of October totaled 7,421 vehicles. These
figures represent a 15.4% increase over last year's figures, resulting in
the best October ever. To date, Audi has sold 75,900 vehicles in 2007, a
10% increase over the previous year.
Several key markets recorded significant increases, including New York
(+24.3%), Miami (+19.8%) and Los Angeles (+22.9%).
Audi Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales also are up for the year. Compared
with last year's figures, October CPO sales came to 2,202 units, an
increase of 17%. To date, CPO sales for 2007 are tracking at 21,810, an
increase of 5.3%.

Volvo Cars Sales Report for October in North America
IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Volvo Cars of North America, LLC
(VCNA) reports sales of 7,771 units in the United States* for the month,
representing a decrease of 7.4 percent compared to the same period last
year.
Overall in North America (United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and
Mexico), Volvo sales were down 8.1 percent for the month, with 8,452 units
sold. October sales in Canada and Mexico were 433 units (down 26.4 percent)
and 248 units (up 14.3 percent) respectively.
Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA), based in Irvine, Calif., is a

Toyota Reports October Sales

TORRANCE, Calif., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS),
U.S.A., Inc., today reported best-ever October sales of 197,592 vehicles,
an increase of 0.5 percent over last October.

"Showroom traffic was strongest from the Midwest through the Gulf
States," said Jim Lentz, TMS executive vice president. "In Southern
California, wildfires crimped a key market already impacted by the housing
downturn."
The Toyota Division posted best-ever October sales of 172,473, an
increase of 0.5 percent over the year-ago month. The Lexus Division
reported best-ever October sales of 25,119 units, an increase of 0.6
percent.
Toyota Division
Toyota Division passenger cars recorded best-ever October sales of
95,241 units. Passenger car sales were led by Camry, which posted October
sales of 33,728, a decrease of 4.1 percent from the same period last year.
Camry Hybrid reported sales of 3,511 units in October, up 20 percent from
October 2006. The Prius hybrid gas-electric mid-size sedan posted best-ever
October sales of 13,158, an increase of 44.9 percent over last October.
Corolla reported October sales of 25,815 units, an increase of 0.7 percent
over the year-ago month.
Toyota Division light truck sales were up 3.1 percent, with best-ever
October sales of 77,232 units. Light truck sales were led by the all-new
Tundra full-size pickup with best-ever October sales of 17,868, an increase
71 percent over the year-ago month. The RAV4 compact sport utility vehicle
reported best-ever October sales of 14,636, up 26.2 percent over the same
period last year. 4Runner posted sales of 7,196, an increase of 10.8
percent. Scion posted October sales of 10,962 units. The tC sports coupe
led the way with October sales of 4,437 units. The xB urban utility vehicle
posted best-ever October sales of 4,375 units, an increase of 6.2 percent
over last October.

an increase of 0.5 percent over October 2006. Passenger car sales were led
by the ES 350 luxury sedan with best-ever October sales of 6,516 units. The
all-new LS 460/460 L and LS 600h L luxury sedans reported combined sales of
2,951, an increase of 35.3 percent over last October. The LS 600h L hybrid
luxury sedan posted sales of 175 units for the month.
Lexus Division light trucks reported October sales totaling 10,102
units, an increase of 0.8 percent over the year-ago month. The RX 350 and
RX 400h posted combined October sales of 7,940 units, up 5.3 percent. The
RX 400h hybrid luxury utility vehicle reported sales of 1,392 units for the
month, an increase of eight percent.
TMS Hybrids
TMS calendar-year-to-date hybrid sales totaled 227,090 units, an
increase of 42 percent over the same period last year. In October, TMS
posted sales of 18,903 hybrid vehicles, up 25 percent over last October.

Mercedes-Benz Sales Up 11 Percent for the Month
MONTVALE, N.J., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today
reported its strongest month of the year and its best October on record
with sales of 22,820 new vehicles, an increase of 10.8 percent over last
October (20,598). This brings MBUSA's year-to-date sales to 203,085, a 2.8
percent increase over the same period in 2006 (197,599), setting an
all-time record for the company.
Sales for the month of October were boosted by high consumer demand for
the all-new 2008 C-Class which recorded a 102 percent increase over October
2006 (7,646 vs. 3,784). Behind the C-Class, the popular E-Class sedans and
wagons recorded sales of 4,176. Strongest gains were made by the flagship
CL-Class coupes which increased 224.5 percent (318 vs. 98). On a
year-to-date basis, volume leaders among the car lines were the C-Class at
49,882, the E-Class at 38,360 and the S-Class at 21, 601

Year-to-Date Sales of BMW Group up 8.2 Percent
WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The BMW Group in the U.S.
(BMW and MINI combined) reported October sales of 26,821 vehicles, an
increase of 9.6 percent over the 24,464 vehicles sold in October 2006. The
BMW Group also increased its year-to-date sales volume to 275,094 vehicles,
up 8.2 percent, compared to 254,297 vehicles in the same period of 2006.
BMW Brand Sales
Sales of BMW brand vehicles increased 12.6 percent in October for a
total of 23,451 compared to 20,822 vehicles reported in the same month a
year ago. Year-to-date BMW brand sales were up 8.6 percent, to 239,788
vehicles compared to 220,885 vehicles sold in the first ten months of 2006.
MINI Brand Sales
MINI USA reported October sales of 3,370 automobiles, down 7.5 percent
from the 3,642 cars sold in October 2006. Year-to-date, the division
reported sales of 35,306 automobiles, an increase of 5.7 percent, compared
to the 33,412 cars reported in the first ten months of 2006.
BMW Certified Pre-Owned
The company reported sales of 7,998 CPO vehicles in October 2007, an
increase of 48.5 percent over October of 2006. Year-to-date, CPO sales are
up 4.3 percent, to 72,443 over the 69,427 reported in the same period in
2006.

American Honda Reports Record October Sales
Accord, Civic, Fit and Odyssey post largest gains
TORRANCE, Calif., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- American Honda Motor Co.,
Inc., posted record October sales of 114,799 Honda and Acura vehicles,
surpassing the previous October 2005 record of 110,895, the company
announced today. Based on the daily selling rate*, October sales declined
0.2 percent due to one additional selling day compared to last year.
Year-to-date, American Honda sales increased 2.5 percent to 1,308,319.
Honda Division year-to-date sales increased 4.3 percent to 1,158,707.
Honda Division posted record October sales of 101,913, up 3.4 percent
compared to last year. October records for individual models included the
Odyssey with sales of 14,451, up 24.4 percent, and the Fit, with sales of
4,868, up 67.3 percent for the month. Sales of the Accord increased 25.8
percent to 30,936. Sales of the Civic increased 7.3 percent to 23,809.
Honda Division total car sales increased 19.8 percent to 59,921.
"Car sales are gaining momentum and response to the new Accord has been
positive," said **** Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda.
"Car sales are up for a variety of reasons, but the number one reason is
that compelling products with inherent value generate consumer interest."
Acura Division posted sales of 12,886 with a new October record set for
the RDX sport utility vehicle. Sales of the RDX increased 9.5 percent to
1,937. Sales of the MDX sport utility vehicle increased 5.4 percent to
4,855. Record Acura Division light-truck sales increased 6.5 percent to
6,792. October sales of the TL luxury performance sedan totaled 3,421; the
TSX sports sedan totaled 2,308.

Accord sales for this month is lower than the camry, but I'm going to guess dealer incentive might have something to do with this. They just wont budge on the price!

CYPRESS, Calif., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors North
America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported October sales of 9,280, virtually
unchanged from last year's October volume of 9,288. Calendar year-to-date
(CYTD) sales are 115,106, remaining well ahead of the first ten months of

The new Outlander crossover sport utility showed the biggest
