Is 40lbs weight savings really that much though? I mean hell I could lose my spare in the trunk and that'd probably save just as much.

It's very hot, and much props, but I bet the *** still comes out from under it like it is on glass just like ever other Viper. Wing or no wing.

Thankfully it isn't; otherwise you might pick up a Viper missing the hood and the engine because the dealership owner wanted a new house in Aspen and needed a downpayment.

In all seriousness, Why are people saying Viper over ZR1 here? This is a heavy car here, compared to a ZR1 at 3100-3200lbs with just as much power and most likely a broader powerband and obvious aftermarket potential. You'll see ZR1s dynoing 650whp AT LEAST with just boltons.

Not a fan of the front lip/wing. Or the back wing, either.

Hehe, losing 40lbs is me going on a diet.

Even though I own a C6, I think I'd still take a Viper over a ZR1. There's just something about a Viper that is a lot more exotic than Vette. Of course, a Vette makes a much better daily driver

The ZR1 will almost definitely be faster, but the difference in speed won't really be usable on the street
