Check the Honda forums. The problems that he described are more common than not. My bro-in-law has a Honda Odyssey and its transmission went out at 60K miles.

And I was seriously considering a Civic Si till I saw the HUGE number of problems that this car has. The 1st/2nd gear synchro problem that the other posted mention in this S2k is far more common in the Civic Si. I've never seen a more hated Honda in recent memory and I've been hanging out on Honda forums for a loooong time.

I'm really dissappointed that the great-looking Mazda CX-7 and CX-9 are unreliable by their data. I really like those cars.

Unhappy R X-8

I realize that improved is a relative term but did they not replace all their engines just last year?

Everyone I know w/ 1 has had major issues ...

I'll answer your question, Steve, since no one else aparantly has. It's an old Honda Civic...the first-generation model, from the mid-1970's. My brother, his best friend, and my girl friend at the time all owned one.

Open his personal profile, you'll see the SL. I think everyone knows about the Civic.

Oh, that's what Mike meant. I said sig, not avatar.

The question may have been unclear.
