guess the deer was small enough and the BMW hit the deer exactly in the right spot where it would fly and fit into the passenger side kidney grille. Gonna be a really really nasty cleanup tho. Looks like some of the pulleys and moving mechanicals got a hold of it and shredded it

I'm going to say fox on this one. Still crazy how it completely blasted through the kidney and into the engine bay though. Guy must have been going pretty fast!
