I think it's just a little too much for me.
Stuff like that is ok. If it's to help in situations that may require a tool of some sort. But to carry a gun in your car for "protection" is simply asking for trouble, IMO.
Why do you think it is asking for trouble? I am moving to atlanta soon and will be working downtown. I will often work late so I am considering buying a gun to keep under my seat. A close female friend who keeps a .38 cal revolver under her seat at all times for protection, she has been carrying it for a few years and has never had to use it. I am thinkin about a ruger 9mm, just havent pulled the trigger yet (pun intended)
It is asking for trouble because you may find yourself in situations that don't necessarily require you reaching for that gun, but you think you need to simply because it's there.
