I gotta utility buck knife (3 1/2 in blade) in my center console for protection. It makes a handy tool as well. If your gonna keep something on you for protection, have it close by, not in the trunk!

no, I don't have a gun, cuz I know I would never use it even I was the top shooter in the army training. 
COme to think of it, I used to carry a big maglite flashlight, for emergences, also as weapon. But Since Vegas is fine, and I don't go to bad areas anyway, I don't have anything in my cars now. Hey, the car itself could be dealy weapon anyway.

I was wondering what kinda of protection do u guys have in your cars? Not the naughty stuff, things like guns or tazors or something. I live in a pretty bad area of dallas and i was thinking i should get a tazor and keep it in the glove compartment(also i wonder why they call it the glove compartment) but also i was thinking of a gun, but i dont think i would ever use it. its just a peace of mind that i have something incase a bad situation comes up.
Like once, some guy walked up to my car and asked for a ride and i was trying to get out and he kept bugging and looked like he was on crack, also i saw him at the car wash and i was washing my RX400h, he came and got in and"pretended" to act like he was helping because he "worked" there.
