Just wanna hear whats everyone's feedback and what are your thoughts
if you want a weekend car for the track don't get an 350Z. My other car's a 350Z roadster and even the 350Z hardtop is slower then the IS 350. If you want a track car get an older M3 or something. If you want just a badass weekend car to have that you don't want to necessarily take to a track I'd say get the 350Z roadster it's an excellent car that definitely gets lots of look and is great for those nice summer nights or anytime really. mine's daytona blue and it's the hottest color in my opinion, it also has navi, and a pretty badass track timer built into the gauges.

i'm going to get on the S2k bandwagon as well...

sure the 350Z has power....but it's ultimately heavier than the S2k

the 350Z in its lightest guise weighs in at 3,320lbs. (and it's not even the Nismo model!)
the S2K weighs in at 2,864lbs... that's a whopping 456lb difference!!!! no matter the power--when it comes to track work, lightness and agility is CRUCIAL, and the S2K has the 350z beat by 456lbs worth.

also it's impossible to get a real power increase with the 350Z. with just about every bolt on mod you'll only get about 25 to 35hp more and that only puts you up to 325-335hp on a car that is half the size but ways almost as much as the IS 350.

S2000 would be my vote. But if I would buy a Nissan GT-R instead of keeping both S2000 and IS350 because I think the price of these two combined might exceed that of GT-R. Just my opinion.

The Miata, granted, has a well-balanced chassis and great handling, but except for the limited-production turbo MazdaSpeed Miatas (which may be very hard to find as used cars, or even new), it just doesn't have enough torque for track use. Though its torque figure actually exceeds that of the S2000's at low RPM, when you really crank the S2000's engine up, it far outpowers the Miata in high RPM HP .
