I'm in envy.....I always loved the Ac Coupes.
Type II, 6 speed, & you have the factory hammer rims......

Nice Prelude too

Keep up the good detailing.

Ummm.... holy crap!!!!
Cleanest Legened 've ever seen. I would never guess it had 300k miles. Is it seriously on the original clutch?

Unfortunately, most owners do not take care of their cars that well. They think an oil change is all the car needs in its lifetime. They neglect the cooling, transmission, and brake system.
Second owner, but his family has had it for almost 10 years now. He just got a new radiator actually.

Frankly, Im surprised that you've never needed an HG replacement. From what I read over at A-L.com is that they are quite common.

Actually, a lot of us have been on A-L.com from the beginning in fact even before the Legend forum community moved to that site. While the HG is definitely a concern and something to watch out for, it is not common in that it happens to all of them. Like GSteg mentioned, if you keep the cooling system maintained a HG problem is not a major concern. All 3 of my Legend Coupes went well past 120K and NONE needed a HG repair. Anyway, some will have trouble others will not. I knew a lot of local Legend owners and none of them needed a HG repair yet. Doesn't mean it wont happen, but I say if it last up to around 200K that is good enough.

It is a longitudinal layout. Pretty cool. I've never seen another V6 FWD car with a longitudinal engine layout. Helps to limit torque steer since it uses equal half shafts. Actually, the 96-98 3.2L TL and 96-2004 RL also uses this engine layout.

so it's similar to the porsche transaxle layout. makes you wonder why honda just didn't make it into a FR.

Wow very nice man. You post this over on Acurazine?

I do believe that the acura legend was the 'founding father' of Japanese luxury cars, proving that they could break the luxury barrier and paving the way for lexus and infinity.

Very Impressive!
I had a 91 Legend 4 door back in the day and it had a bad electrical problem from the beginning. The local Acura service dept could not fix it even after taking it to them over 10 times in 3 months.
I was so fed up I dumped the car and got a LS400.
Best move I could have made.
I assume you have not had that problem.
300K mile is commendable on any car. Hope it lasts another 300K.
