Which car to lease for $35k?

Negotiate a high mileage lease, say 20k/year or something. That will factor into the rate and as a realtor she can (to my understanding) would be able to write off the entire cost, even the extra per month cost of the mileage.

Just make sure, if you deduct all of the payments for a high-mileage lease, that she actually DRIVES that many miles.....and keeps some evidence of it. Otherwise, it is considered tax fraud. The car's odometer, of course, usually doesn't lie, but tax returns have a statute of limitations for at least 7 years....long after the car will be gone. Service records are also a good way to keep track of mileage ......tell her to save every one.
