something does seem right with those men (ONLY) walking around in robes! there's no other reason for WCC to be there unless they were making big $$$'s. don't you remember that they were gonna buy the company that owns the US ports and hire middle eastern security guards for $7.50 an hour? that's big time dough.

Nice pics!! There seems to be a lot more high end tuners on hand than I've ever seen at a new vehicle car show. If there's anywhere in the world to try and push expensive add ons, I would say Dubai is the place to do it.

About 20 years ago a similar show at the Abu Dhabi Sheraton wouldn't let me and my Brit/Scot companions past the velvet rope. The guys in the white robes were the ones with the big money, and despite our nice Savile Row suits, we were clearly well below the target demographic. It was the European promoters of the show that excluded all but the locals.

The promoters knew a bunch of lookey-loos when they saw them - we couldn't have afforded an ashtray in that show. Saving the floorspace for the real players, I guess. Odd for us for once to be on the receiving end of discrimination . . .

hey rashed this is alittle off topic but do u have any info on mtm and if there opening up shop in dubai , Im looking for tuners for the r8 and the people over at the audi forums like mtm products and recomend them
