I have a 2006 IS 350 that I am looking to trade in for a 335xi coupe. I have Volk GT7 19" RBC wheels on my IS but they are damaged. Would it be better to trade the car in with the aftermarket wheels and sell the stock wheels/tires (almost new) or visa versa? thanks.

trade it in with stock wheels because the dealers dont care if u have mods or not. then u can sell it on CL for some side cash .

Put stock rims on if you have 'em.

As for the damaged Volks, depending on the damage you may be able to sell them as is, or find a good wheel shop to repair them and then sell them.

You will actually be losing money because you won't get more money for the mods when you get rid of a car that is modded. That's why you see people on the classifieds parting out their cars.
