Cash Credit

You can get a $12k CDN credit, thing is it for the LS600h L only (Which ends Nov 30th)

Honestly it should be on all models.

if i read the fine print right, it says 12k for 600hl, but lesser values for other selected models... it's not ONLY for 600hl

Yeah and it's only for CASH customers... i.e. you walk in with $160,000 in cash for a base LSh (after taxes) and they give you $12k back. Lease or finance an LSh and it's $5,000 back.

The Lexus LS600h L is way way way overpriced. with all the savings you get from a lower model you could spend all that on gas for the life of the car.

Toyota was not thinking clearly when they priced the LSh.

You mean Camry vs ES owners. The same could also be said about the Avalon vs GS.

nah. i know people comparing the corolla to the IS, so the camry has to be with the GS, and the avalon, easily with the ls

I think it is the Avalon and ES350 that are cross shopped.

yeah most likely.

Full size Toyota or midsize Lexus?

Luxury Toyota with Toyota maintenance prices or luxury Lexus with prestige and Lexus maintenance price.

2007 LX470 you can get for $15k CDN cheaper if cash purchase

Price decrease list

2007 LX470 (CDN) for $86,400 [cash purchase only] still is hefty.

I hope these price decreases will show the new prices for up coming model years. Would be nice to see the LX570 be like $86400. Would still be over $10k more then the US.

It seems we will be still paying 15-20% more for certain 2008/09 models probably.

I would say the amount of cash credit they are offering is VERY disappointing , they should be able to do a lot better than that, especially for the LS460L, which gets ONLY $8,500, the same as the LS460 (& the RX350 !! WTF ??), but can be a lot more expensive than the SWB version

I remember when the LX470 had a price hike from $90 to $101k somewhere in 1999 or 2000 I don't recall. Now they're just bring it back to "normal".

The ES350 went up in price for the Package "B". All I see is the addition of bluetooth. I don't think that's worth nearly $2k.

Aside from the LS, the LX and RX are old models near the end of their life.

Absolutely, but IMO, only half-heartedly by not only Lexus, but also Mercedes & Audi etc. . . .
