Thumbs up +1 on Some Points on this Thread

There really is no reason for you to over extend yourself on a car when you consider all that it does is depreciate over time.

Also, it is only a matter of time before the Accords can be had @ invoice I'm sure ...

For the past 20 years the Accord has been the benchmark to which all other cars in its class are compared. Just like the M3, it sits high upon its pedestal and can't be knocked off. Also, like the M3, its competitors are getting very, very close.

actually in a straight line the new one is pretty stable. the Bangle butt really helps keep airflow at the rear clean.

And yet the 2008 Accord is one of their top safety picks for 2008 and the Camry isn't.

Oh but the thread is about the Accord Coupe isn't it.... and not how much people here hate the Accord.....

hahaha... you just contradicted yourself terribly. The question, if you've read through the thread, is whether the accord is worth the price premium

How much people "HERE" hate the Accord? Please explain? I see debate from both sides and quite frankly, more than enough Camry/Toyota hate "here".

Those pictures are meaningless. Who cares what the car looks like after an accident? What's important is passenger safety. Apparently, the Accord protects its passengers better, regardless of what the car looks like after an accident.

Couldn't you just buy a used TSX and buy the aero kit and slap on some aftermarket springs? I'm sure you can find the A-spec badge somewhere online, but is it worth the price premium to buy a used A-spec?

Well, do you think the after market treatment of a used/depreciated TSX would cost less than what a use/depreciated A-spec TSX?
