This TOOL is wasting everyones time here and on the www.e46fanatics.com board with made up stories. Over there he got ripped off on his bmw 330 and here it is his is300.

On a positive note, we have learned from this fabricated story and can now keep an eye out for scams like this, so in reality he might have not wasted our time and just given us a lesson.

The guy planned this very well knowing you could not do anything about it. You got set up by someone who knew how to work the legal system.
Now as far as anything you can do.. legally no.... you cannot do anything about it.
As far as the issue of 900 measly miles away and $7000.00 at stake... yeah I'd make the drive. I cannot say what you should do at this point to the car or to him, nor can I say what "I" would do at this point because it just isn't gonna show the best side of me, but you can put me on record as saying if you set me up and play me for a fool, then take $7000.00 from me, I will show up on your door step with a can of gas and a match.
.......and I'm not just talking on the internet...... let it happen to me and I'll bring pictures back.
