the G37s aren't selling as well as the G35s when they first came out IMO...
not to mention that the G35 had clean cut lines which helped in keeping a muscular, tight look. the G37 just seems like they took out the hard lines and "blurred" everything, almost looks bloated.

At least the GT-R looks like nothing else

To honest 1SICKLEX I can tell the difference. I actually perfer the car company not to change the design too much so the old version don't go down in value too much. Look how long Lexus kept the old GS design?

G35c looks significant better than G37c & I can tell them apart instantaneously. Frankly, I have little desire to trade for a G37c because of the new design ...

The G35 changed exterior styling after only 4 years on the market. Even the IS 300 stayed 5 years. The 2GS was what, 8 years.
I agree with you 100%, keeping things similar is a good thing re-sale wise and recent Infinitis outside the Q/QX have had stellar resale value.

The new gen G37 is toooo damn heavy. It weighs close to 3700 lbs. That more than a 3gs. Thats lame. I drove one at a press day bec my sister in law is a big wig with nissan. The car is slower than the prerv gen . I was underwhelmed by the test drive. Its no surprise that they are selling very poorly. When I went in to see it again at the dealership they told me they were selling the car at 7k over sticker. I told the guy I'll take my money to a dealership that drug tests.

IMO the G37S looks much better than the G35, especially the updated interior and quality/fitment. I've driven both cars and although the G35 felt a bit nimbler and lighter in comparison to the G37S, i just love how the new car feels more luxurious but not sacrificing too much performance. The extra hp more than compensates for the increased weight.

wow, back from the dead. but i agree, its a nice car. should check out some drag times. theres a 6MT who hit 13.7 @ 103+ stock. not bad. this fall i expect to see these numbers to drop a tenth or two due to colder weather.
