I'm about to pull the trigger on this and just wanted you guys to weigh in. Carfax is clean, going to have my mechanic look at it this weekend.
$24990 OTD

Thanks for your input guys.
Oh, and the best rate i could find on the honda/acura care warranty (4yr/48k extra coverage) is $1300 on top of the OTD price. Good price? It ranged from $1300-2000 for the same coverage at 8 different dealers

My strong advice: Stay away from auctions. In most cases, they are too risky.
As far as the TL's go, both of the ones you posted seem like nice cars (though I'm not a terribly big fan of the TL)....but, of course, you'll have to check them out carefully yourself. Besides the usual body and interior inspections for condition and accident damage and the usual test drive (with any car) for brake/steering vibrations, pulling, and shimmies, pay particular attention to how the transmission pulls and shifts, and if there is any lag in shifter response in and out of gear. By 2004-2005, most of the problems were gone, but for several years before that, these cars were known to have weak automatic transmissions.
It's up to you, of course, and your money, but you can also have a brand-new Acura TSX for not much more than what these used TL's are going to cost,

and the TSX, trust me, is a nice little sedan. It doesn't quite have the TL's power, but it's not dragging as much weight either, and its interior, for the price, is first-rate.
