No one is hating, just don't expect everyone to have 30 posts saying "AWEESOME" or "THIS CAR DECIMATES ALL" in this thread.

Good gains, Dinan warranty, good match.

You basically have to get the oil cooler, which is 2 grand.

Lots of guys are already putting out more power than this without upgraded intercoolers, rads, or oil coolers.

Are "lots of guys" tracking it or just "taking it to the country club"?

exactly, its very different doing 5 sessions of hot laps on a track. the only reason i would get more hp would be to use it on the track. but if i go into limp mode all the time then that sux more than driving a corolla on a track =(

It's also going to be interesting for the 335 and M3 guys when the 135 shows up and gets the same, if not more, mods.

if I'm taking a E90/92 to the track, I'd want more stopping power and cornering ability before power.

Sweet numbers and awesome backup.

Just as a side note, it sounds like a bunch of pompous A-holes on that site... looking for all the negatives in the mod rather than trying to find something good out of it...

Well, I will say this; "lots of guys" are making assumptions. My car is tuned, I don't even have an oil cooler (not even the stock one), and I track it a decent amount (9 track days this summer), and I have not had a heat issue. On one track day at Shannonville's short track (lots of gear changes) it was 106F and I did 16 non stop laps. I'm not alone either, between Procede, JB, AA Xede, TT there have to be over 500 members on e90post alone with tunes, and enough of them track their cars that if cooling were a serious issue, we would be hearing more about it.

I am not saying that there are no heat issues, just that it's blown way out of proportion. No tune, including Dinans, is going to "require" additional cooling.

I dunno... but it's definitely underrated from the factor. This is around a 50hp and 90tq gain from what I've seen, which still isn't bad if it's under warranty.

Anybody know if this is 'compatible' with leases or does it still void the terms?
stock 335i puts out ~270 whp
