Exclamation Land Rover introduces 2008 Range Rover Westminster

Irvine, CA--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--December 21, 2007--Land Rover North America today announced the arrival of a special version of the flagship Range Rover. The Range Rover Westminster, a limited edition of the 2008 Range Rover Supercharged, is now arriving in showrooms nationwide.

The Range Rover Westminster is an exclusive model with only 500 available in North America. The Westminster edition is equipped with Java Black Pearlescent exterior paint, 10-spoke, 20-inch alloy wheels and ‘Westminster’ badging on the rear tailgate.

Inside, comfort is enhanced for all passengers with a four-zone climate control system, climate controlled infrared glass and a rear seat entertainment system. The Westminster package is further refined with a 14-piece lined oak extended wood veneer, a lined oak anthracite gear shift ****, luxury floor mats, ‘Westminster’ badged sill plates and Java Black leather seats with tan center seat inserts and tan piping.

“The enhancements in this very exclusive model offer a high level of interior luxury and refinement,” said Finbar McFall, vice president of Marketing, Land Rover North America. “We believe this personalization coupled with the vehicle's all-around capability both on- and off-road will allow the 2008 Range Rover Westminster to meet the expectations of even the most discerning customer."

The Range Rover Westminster features a 4.2-liter Supercharged V8 engine that produces 400 bhp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. A permanent four-wheel drive system is coupled with Land Rover’s proven Terrain Response(TM) system to provide the go-anywhere capability expected of all Land Rovers. Like all Range Rovers, the Westminster is fully equipped with a touch-screen interface with a Driver Information System. Land Rover’s GPS satellite navigation system includes full on- and off-road functionality, perfect for any driver whether on the highway or on the back roads.

The 2008 Range Rover Supercharged enhanced with the Westminster package is priced at $105,600.

All prices listed are Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) and include a $775 destination and delivery charge. Tax, title, registration fees not included. Contact a local retailer for their price.

I like the saddle inserts on the seats, but yes they don't go with the wood trim color.

Although that is more practical, the Range Rover name is worth the extra $20k for some people buying at that price point...

As much as I love the Range, I'm with you. I'd consider buying a regular range, but not something this high price.
