So, in NAIAS, the Toyota Venza will debut in a few days.

Other than that debut, we have also seen A-BAT concept truck and a diesel Tundra.

What other premieres are expected for this year?

When will the next generation GX570, RX350 (perhaps a 460 or 450h), Prius, 4-Runner, tC, Tacoma, SC(?), LF-A(?), IS coupe/convertible debut in the future? Is this the year we'll get to see such pre-production models?

Anything confirmed to officially debut?

theres a thread about this already. lexus isnt doing squat this year.

why? beats me. would make sense to actually unveil the final production of LF-A or announce the JX or VX concepts which they have registered trademark for. Surprising they arent doing anythign at all thi year at detroit...

perhaps chicago and NY will be a different story.

RX late this year or next, the IS should get a refresh and coupe/targa option, and new GX.

I think Lexus is not doing anything this year is because they (toyota) are carefully watching what the American economy does. There is a gas crisis, housing crisis, election coming up, possible recession and it is not a very good time to introduce something to America.

I am not a 100% but I believe Toyota/Lexus sales have stalled at a level that they will be at for a while as Americans figure what they are going to do next...
