For those who want a comparison test of X vs IX, pick up a copy of latest Motor Trend.

X vs IX
295hp vs 286hp
3585lb vs 3254 lb
5.4sec vs 4.7sec
14.0sec vs 13.4sec.

I'll take the old one.

if i have to sit in it and drive it around everyday--i'd actually take the new one.


mitsubishi interiors are unacceptably horrible...

Note that the Evo X Motor Trend tested was the manual (without SST), so of course it was slower. I do find it unlikely that the SST would make up those .7 seconds entirely, but it should take a couple ticks off it.

Yeah, I heard the 6 speed manual won't be out for awhile until the X makes it debut.

that's why it's soo cool! drive something like that and lay the smack down on some cocky schmuck in an expensive car and then you'll understand. then when you want the comfort and smoothness, drive your lexus.
