och give me a break. hate to critize the older lexus models, but you cant seriously believe that the new lexus interiors suck. I own an IS300 so i can legitimately critize how cheap it is on the inside. even the upper dash is a hard plastic and not a vinyl material.

the gen2 IS is leaps and bounds over the old one. seriously, L finesse is a good thing

Give me a break, everyone knows that IS300 is a "bastard child" that Lexus had but never wanted. It's not really a Lexus, its a Toyota Altezza, and it made it into Lexus lineup without much improvement to its interior, but at least its interior was nice and solid, materials were indeed cheap but assembly was top notch. The new one is nice and glossy to the touch, but when touching, press the finger a lil harder and it goes "squeek". Try that with even the very first original LS400, you'll break your finger before it squeaks.

Thats because the new one uses glossy crap for materials and put together with elephant boogers and bubble gum

Oh wow. If I get the Genesis that's exactly how I want it to look. Are those red calipers I see too? Only thing I'd change out is probably the exhaust tips for normal quad tips.

That is a very good looking car from the pic above. It will be interesting to test drive one when they come out, just to see how good they really are, or aren't.

After seeing the new TL, I'm really starting to like the Genesis. Then again, almost anything in the segment looks better than the new TL.

That sedan is hot hot hot hot hot.

VIP clean and classy.

Not much talk about the coupe lately, I'm actually disappointed with the styling based on how good the sedan looks, but if they can deliver a fully-loaded V6 for around $30K...hello! (They said they were shooting for the G37 performance/equipment with Eclipse pricing...and the Eclipse tops out around $30K with all the boxes checked).

Amazing how the GEnesis can look like so many cars. That black one has some old discontinued Q45 in it.

This car embarrasses Acura right now. I really hope it does well!

seems like everyone is into the looks of the car only... if that is the case Chinese replicas will dominate the industry eventually if they begin to export haha

Genesis review:

http://car-reviews.automobile.com/Hy...rack-test/5795

17/25 mpg for the Genesis V8 is official. And that's on regular fuel.

FYI, the new Mazda 6 3.7L V6 gets 17/25 mpg.

So the Genesis 4.6L gets the same mpg as the Mazda 3.7L, even though the Genesis is a V8, RWD, and weighs 600 more pounds. Kinda sad for Mazda.

Hyundai engine technology has come a long way.
