Apple does a great job with its marketing of the ipod, especially with planned obsolesce.

In regards to the hummer, I think its a little over the top and something that you see in movies hehe.

To me the H2 and H3 were a failure, despite how much they sold. This one however goes back to "LOOKING" as rugged as its predecessor was. Hopefully it will be just as beefy as the H1, otherwise it will be just another aesthetically pleasing failure.

i guess it depends on how you look at it. i think the H2 and H3 were much better vehicles than the H1. both of them are teh best factory off roaders you can buy in their segments. larger tires than anything else in their class, rear lockers, real tow hooks, H3 has a great transfer case ratio.
this new one might be the best of all, as it addresses the flaws of the h2 and 3, namely, lack of front locker and size of course size isn't even a flaw of the H3, it fits on almost all trails.

^I guess its the way the H2 and H3 look sooo cheap compared to the first one. The first one has a visual appearance as RUGGED, and built strong, the other two look like shiny plastics and cheap chrome accents. I see my neighbor driving down the road all the time in his raised H2 and to me it screams cheap looking.... I don't know why.
