I wish the design were more cohesive. This car is on its way to production; you can tell with the simpler front end, and the new rear that has a crash-ready bumper design. The front end looks better than any other LF-A concept before it, but the rear just looks too bulbous and ugly now. Also, Lexus seriously needs to design better quarter panels. The rear quarter panel with the scoop just looks bad. There's no other way around it. It needs more flare, more coke-bottle design. And the descending line coming down from the scoop completely negates the wedge profile of this car, making it look like a heap instead.

It looks sooooooo sexy, and looks at least 90% production ready. The gauges do look like what a super car should have. One word.......WOW. Now those traditional super car companies need to worry about these two new born Japanese super cars: Lexus LF-A and Nissan GT-R. They are scary.

Wow incredible pictures!!! Definitely improved front end, the red really makes the car look even more loud, I'll have to look at more colors to determine how it looks...no pics of the top up?

I cannot say it enough times...this is NOT the SC nor will it ever be. This is a high performance sports car that will likely cost two and a half times that of the SC.
SC will always be the luxury cruiser- V8, lots of wood and leather, smooth ride with plenty of technological toys.
LF-A- high revving V10, 2 seater, carbon fiber structure, dedicated exotic sports car.
trust me on this...NOT the SC.

This is a different class than SC. It's meant to be a hyper car and pull some G strings.
Love it! Lexus has done it this time and this car is F badge worthy.

Time will tell.
PS. I too shared you guys opinion until I saw this particular concept, so I do agree with you on some of the points you are trying to make.
