And miles alone don't necessarily mean anything. It depends, of course, on how often you use your brakes......cruising on an Interstate, for example for a thousand miles with a new set of brakes will obviously do you no good....you have to USE them to break them in, and the best way to do that, of course, is stop-and-go driving.

Thanks.
I figured, for the milestone review in a primarily Lexus forum, that I could at least do a Lexus product.
Every review I've ever done has pros and cons. In 40 years of driving, I haven't seen a perfect car yet.
Correct. I just like car talk.

I went to the cons to see what you didn't like about.
Just from this post you racked up another 100+ posts....I know I know, you don't care less about the points

Yes, like I said, that is nothing new. It's been part of standard procedure for new cars for many years. You will find it in almost every Owners' Manual and in the recommendations from most auto manufacturers.

I agree.....demos are sometimes a different ball game. I'd be leery of buying one, though, unless you got a really good deal....they are sometimes abused, especially when the salespeople don't go along.

yeah I tend to stay away from them too or at least get an extended warranty. I mean I don't abuse them like bouncing off the rev limiter or anything but who knows what other people would do.
