Considering how your dad drives the car, maybe some neck pads. It's the only thing I could think of that isn't too pricey but could still be helpful.

If he is into music, a few CDs of his favorites - if he already has a good CD collection, how about a nice hard-shell case for the extras. A friend picked up a beautiful hard shell Lexus logo case for me when he attended the rollout of the IS, and I've kept it under the passenger seat of both my RX's.

First thing i would do is Tint. But if hes already got that set up. You can try to do custom jobs. Like custom paint the grill or engine bay. The best thing to do is go to the toyota forums..and see what others are doing to their cars.

Two things come immediately to mind:

A little bottle of touch-up paint?

Maybe a pack of gift certificates for a good local carwash?

I would suggest Tint or Clear bra

If that doesn't work then a gift certificate to your/his favorite car wash/detailing place.

is the audio system compatible with an iPod dock for the car? If so, maybe get him a dock and a Nano or something like that.

Would your Dad be interested in a subscription to Sirius or XM? That's another possibility.

Default I made a decision:

Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

After consideration, I finally bought him a couple of things:

1) ClearMats: the interior is a light gray, so carpets need to be protected.

and,

2) A personalized license plate frame: that says "My Son Took My Lexus" (some members know about that story... ).
