Seems like this is an all new car too. Despite the fact that the side looks the same at first glance, minor details like side window sizes and cut lines are slightly diff = new platform, even if the design looks super similar. Nissan isn't straying far from their previous gen designs for the new gen.
God that front is ugly. Maybe it's one of those gotta-see-it-in-person things. Also surprised that it is out in the open; Nissan is usually pretty good about keeping their stuff under wraps.

Nissan/Infiniti is really gonna epic fail once it realizes that it can't rely on making their new model cars almost exactly the same as their previous generation ones.
I could see a few models being evolutionary but like almost everything coming out (rumor or spy shots) looks like the same car with a few changes.
370Z
G37, G35 sedan
FX
Altima
The only new car they have that has differentiated enough from the previous generation is the Murano.
There's one thing of saying "don't fix what isn't broken," and having your entire range look exactly the same for 6 years.

A big problem with Nissan right now is all their "new" products look too similar to their old products. The new G35 looks extremely similar to the old one, so much so that it's often very hard to distinguish the new one from the old one on the streets. The new Altima looks a lot like the old one, and this new FX looks a lot like the old one too, only uglier.
Nissan is going to have a big problem on it's hands if it continues making it's new models look too evolutionary compared to it's old models. It's new models will look dated very quickly and that will hurt sales.
