The corolla now gets navigation and leather! lol. that is really weird.

if people who would usually buy a corolla can no longer afford it, they can get a yaris.

People are complaining about price but this new corolla has features that the original LS400/SC400 didn't even have.

My gf is looking for a car soon and I'm tempted to steer her towards one of these AWD models. If only she didn't hate Subarus...

Well, look at it this way; 30 years ago, a Corolla was 4k. 30 years into the future, a Corolla will be 50k!! There's no way around it, it's called inflation.
