Touch screen NAV or not?

I have a touch screen Nav in my ES350. I drove an 07 MDX and did not like the "I-drive" type system. I like the touch screen feature, and don't think I would buy a car without it.

Once you get used to the joystick-type navigation, it's not really that bad. But touchscreen is where it's at for both convenience and clean looks (not so many buttons all over the place).
I wouldn't automatically stop considering a car because it has a non-touch navigation system, but it would take off a point or two.

I have an MDX and I rarely find myself using the dial, I use the voice command a lot. What I do like better is that Acura doesn't lockout any features while driving like the Toyota/Lexus vehicles do.

I've had my GS for almost 3 years now and have been spoiled by the touchscreen nav system...everything is just so intuitive.
I recently picked up a new E63 last week and the only complaint I have so far is with the COMAND system. I really prefer touch screen systems.

I think both are good. I prefer to have my nav screen as high up on the dash as possible. This also means that with my short arms I can't really reach the screen if I'm fully seated in my seat. I would have to lean forward a bit. In that case I'd rather use a joy stick. On the other hand when I used an aftermarket double DIN with touch screen, I could reach the screen easily since it was in the radio location so using the touch wasn't okay. I think either way is fine. I can use either one and neither is a deal breaker for me.

I have a Honda Pilot and an IS250, both with nav. I haven't driven the 07 MDX, but if it's like my Honda, I would not say it's NOT touchscreen. How do you enter an address? Doesn't a keyboard pop up, that you can touch? That's how my Honda works. Certain features require you to navigate with the joystick (like tapping on a POI icon). I wish the Lexus had a joystick too. If I'm trying to scroll over to see a number of streets over or ahead if i'm stuck in traffic or something, I like using the joystick much better.
Compared to some of the German systems which are not touchscreen AT ALL, I wouldn't classify Honda's system as non-touchscreen.
